the Writings
[edit | edit source]”It’s a tale as old as time. Civilizations rise and fall, but it was not thought of to be so suddenly. The quickening of climate change and the increasing political tension warranted attention. The end was near if the continent wasn’t cared for. But alas, the end times had come. Kingdoms fell. St. Scotuna crumbled, as well as the entire coalition of nations. A kingdom below the waves. A hidden continent. A world long gone, yet destined to rise yet again in the near future. The kingdom will return, and when it does, the kingdom will not only relive glory days but rise to the top.”
”The historian reminisced of forgotten times. A kingdom ‘as tough as nails.’ That was the legacy of St. Scotuna. A kingdom that rose to the top. But like all kingdoms, there’s a climax and resolution. Like the waves of the ocean, down came the kingdom. Down came the legacy, sleeping down with the fishes. Hidden in the depths of the ocean are whispers of the glorious past. Maybe life in the new continent wasn’t that bad, but it could be better. But when we forget history, we are doomed to repeat it. Down falls the Eternal Civilization yet again. Ironically, despite its name, all great nations have a finite lifespan. The apocalypse arrived yet again. The continent however did not sink, but fell into nuclear fallout. The ancient dwellers of times long forgotten rose from their graves. St. Scotuna rose from the ashes, anewed. There was no regret of the past, but instead an active defiance and erasure. History always repeats itself…”
The only inaccuracy in this part is that the continent sank into the north sea, and as of now has still not been found. A more accurate description of the event is here:
"initially, the fall of the old continent was of artifical causes. the original iron farm was flawed to the core, it was being stolen from all the time by the revolutionaries. but the main reason the continent sank into the sea was because of the iron farm's central mechanism. it overloaded and exploded with the force of earth's little boy hydrogen bomb. this is the reason that all those people had to escape. there was no use there anymore."
